Ukrainian real agricultural business was tokenized

Successful attraction of investments is one of the main factors contributing to business development and scaling. In the conditions of economic instability, many companies of the real sector face certain problems in this direction. The most obvious option – attracting loaned bank funds – often turns out to be a rather risky tool, as it imposes the burden of financial responsibility on the borrower. 

Due to the lack of confidence in the stable demand associated with the reduction of the pace of economic development in many developed countries, business owners are forced to approach the assessment of potential risks more carefully.

However, Daria Novgorodkina does not share the general pessimism. Her company, AgroGloryTime , is engaged in the cultivation of vegetable crops in open and closed ground, which allows her business to look confidently into tomorrow, against the background of the food crisis, which is gaining momentum. Aware of the opportunities for growth and the high social responsibility entrusted to food manufacturers, Daria as the head of the company was naturally faced with the need to expand production. 

In the case of AgroGloryTime, the company did not apply for a loan from the bank. Instead, they proposed a tokenization model of an existing $50 million business that involves direct fundraising from investors. A distinctive feature of the company's token is $ AGTI - there is guaranteed profitability. Since the token itself is tied to the real shares of the company, its investors receive quarterly payments in the amount of the share of their participation, which, according to the previously presented economic model, ensures a total return of at least 25% per annum. 

Daria was asked several popular questions about the project she is leading.

Good afternoon! Let's start right away with questions about the tokenomics of your project. It does not mention part of the tokens allocated to the team. What do you plan to earn?

Thank you for the question. I'll start by clarifying that AgroGloryTime is an already launched agribusiness that provides stable income. At the time of issuing the $ tokenAGTI our capitalization already exceeds $50 million, and the company is officially registered according to the location of its land assets - in Ukraine. Moreover, shares AgroGloryTime are in public circulation, they are the ones that support our token. 

That is, we actually guarantee the rights of token owners to receive an equivalent part of our company.

Quite a bold decision, but still, what does your profit share come from? 

Look, today we, as the owners of the company, receive 100% of the income from its products. According to our model - we have published a more detailed description of it, including on our website - we are ready to direct up to 75% of the company's profit to the payment of profitability for token owners. 25% interest will remain with us as before, but after attracting sufficient funding, this part in money will multiply the current turnover of the company. Therefore, no one will be offended! 

Does it mean that all profit for the reporting period is shared between you and the current token holders? So, as sales increase, their profitability will decrease?

Quite true, and we make no secret of it. However, there is one nuance that is worth mentioning. As you remember, we attract financing for investments in business development. I spoke in detail about specific examples of our promising projects in another recent interview. The logic is that by developing our production capabilities, we produce more products and, accordingly, earn more. That is, not only the number of beneficiaries increases, but also the pie itself. Given the current situation on the global and domestic Ukrainian food market, you can be sure that there will always be demand and sales channels.

If we touch on the technical side, how is the token accrual process going now? As far as we know, the contract itself has not yet been launched? 

That's right. We are currently in the pre-sale stage. In August, we will release a large-scale update and the tokens will be displayed in the personal accounts of buyers. As soon as there is a contract, $AGTI will be charged to the wallet.

But will there be token payouts already at this stage? 

Absolutely true. The sale has already started and continues for several months, and the first dividends to those who purchased tokens before the end of July will be paid in autumn in stablecoins. In the future, payments will be made once a quarter.

And when should we expect the appearance of $AGTI on CEX and DEX?

As we openly warn all our potential investors, the token will be vested for about a year - that is, it will not be possible to sell it. At this time, we plan to actively work with the community, demonstrating the effectiveness of our model, ultimately our business. Finally, we will meet our dividend payment obligations, which will probably be the strongest argument. After that, we will wait for a more optimistic situation on the crypto market and withdraw $AGTI in open swimming.

We would like to dwell on the issue of working with the community - how does the audience generally react to your project, given that it is very different from most blockchain startups?

Good question, and you're right to point out that AgroGloryTime has its own specificity. We are an offline company, and the main emphasis is on the development of our real business. Of course, entering the crypto market with our token, we strive to make the process of interaction with investors as simple and transparent as possible. This is why we are constantly working on the site, and the release of DAO is also ahead AgroGloryTime. In general, there are a lot of plans and tasks, and I am glad that we are on schedule. 

Another important question is given that in the case of $AGTI it is about a token that is associated with a physical company localized in a specific country - Ukraine. How do you work with an international audience and how important is it to you? 

Very significant! That is why, choosing among all the available tools for attracting funding, we settled on blockchain and token issuance. Technically, we are ready to work, and we are already working with investors from all over the world as part of the pre-sale. In practice, I would conditionally divide our current audience into domestic and global. At the first stage, we were supported by many Ukrainian investors, which is not surprising: our company is well known here, and in general, the potential of agriculture in our region is practically limitless. Therefore, as soon as such an opportunity appeared, there was interest in it. I am glad that we have followed the right path.
